Help Others Stay Warm, and Get a Warm Feeling in Return

Kids wearing donated coats

Cincinnati weather is known to be wildly unpredictable. Even though we’ve had a few days of occasional relief this winter, we have already experienced weeks of record cold temperatures. Bone-chilling winds have made things even worse, prompting hundreds of schools and businesses to shut down solely due to the cold.

Imagine going through this season without a proper winter coat. It seems unthinkable, yet this is the reality for thousands of our neighbors. There are even children who must walk to school with little or no defense from the elements. Thankfully, there is a way for us all to easily lend a hand.

Once again, the St. Vincent de Paul – Cincinnati is answering the call with their annual coat drive. This year, CityDash is once again proud and humbled to have taken part in this tremendous undertaking, helping to deliver more than 2,600 coats throughout Greater Cincinnati.

It is truly an honor for us to assist such a noble organization and help give comfort to the needy members of our community. If you would like to help, donations are always welcome at SVDP thrift stores located throughout the city. To find out where and to learn more, please visit
